Job summary

Gray Media’s KCTV Sales Internship is a part-time, 10-week program in Fairway, KS, designed to teach the fundamentals of media sales with real responsibilities.

You’ll learn prospecting, cold calling, client presentations, and how to support digital and broadcast sales; you’ll work with experienced leaders and participate in weekly trainings, with pay ranging up to $15/hour. This hands-on experience helps you build a business-from-day-one mindset.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a college/university, preferably in your senior year.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• College student, seniors preferred, earning a degree in Journalism/Communications, Sales, or related fields, with a desire to get hands-on experience in the local media industry.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to prospect and identify new business opportunities
• Practice real cold calls (with coaching, not guesswork)
• Build client presentations and proposals
• Support digital and broadcast sales strategies
• Work alongside experienced Media Executives and Sales Leaders
• Participate in weekly training designed to accelerate your growth
