Gray Media's WVLT Sales Training Program in Knoxville, TN offers a hands-on internship designed to teach the fundamentals of media sales. You will learn to prospect, identify opportunities, and build client presentations for multi-platform advertising while working with seasoned sales leaders.

The 10-week internship is paid and designed for students; hours are flexible for a part-time schedule, with potential for future full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a college/university, preferably in your senior year.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• College student, seniors preferred, earning a degree in Journalism/Communications, Sales, or related fields, with a desire to get hands-on experience in the local media industry.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to prospect and identify new business opportunities
• Practice real cold calls (with coaching, not guesswork)
• Build client presentations and proposals
• Support digital and broadcast sales strategies
• Work alongside experienced Media Executives and Sales Leaders
• Participate in weekly training designed to accelerate your growth
