Job summary

Gray Media, Inc. is offering a Fall '26 Sales Training Program internship with WGGB in Springfield, MA.

This part-time position teaches fundamentals of media sales via hands-on experience over a 10-week term and pays at least minimum wage up to $15 per hour. Interns will learn prospecting, cold calling, client proposals, and multi-platform sales strategies while working alongside senior sales leaders and earning real-world experience in local media.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a college/university, preferably in your senior year.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• College student, seniors preferred, earning a degree in Journalism/Communications, Sales, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to prospect and identify new business opportunities.
• Practice real cold calls (with coaching, not guesswork).
• Build client presentations and proposals.
• Support digital and broadcast sales strategies.
• Work alongside experienced Media Executives and Sales Leaders.
• Participate in weekly training designed to accelerate your growth.
