Blue Origin Honeybee Robotics in Altadena, CA, seeks a cooperative education student for a ~5 month role (Jan–Jun 2027). The role focuses on mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical system support, with hands-on learning and meaningful project contributions.

Qualified candidates are enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program and have hands-on hardware experience, plus proficiency in Excel. Onsite position with opportunities for learning across design, fabrication and testing.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on hardware experience with mechanical assembly and/or electrical workmanship.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, fabrication, and testing of mechanical systems.
• Draft and update mechanical part/assembly drawings and electrical schematics.
• Procure components and contribute to product development projects.
