Job summary

Blue Origin’s Southern California site in Altadena is seeking a 5-month co-op for electrical engineering students. You will support design, fabrication, and testing of electrical systems and draft technical documents. This hands-on role emphasizes circuit analysis, debugging, and instrumentation selection.

Enrolled EE student with strong fundamentals in circuits, Altium/PCB, embedded C, and lab skills is preferred. The program runs January through June 2027 and requires U.S. work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering or equivalent accredited program.
• Solid circuit theory fundamentals.
• Experienced with Altium schematic capture and PCB layout tool or equivalent.
• Familiar with embedded C development.
• Familiar with Spice simulation.
• Proficient with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and LCR meters.
• Detail oriented with design documentation and test summary report generation.

Responsibilities

• Support systems design, development, fabrication, and testing of electrical systems.
• Hands-on learning and contribute to product development.
• Draft, update, and procure technical documents (mechanical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams).
• Conduct analog and digital circuit debugging.
• Perform circuit analysis and execute test work instructions.
• Evaluate and select instrumentation (temperature, pressure, position).
• Review test data and recommend changes to products and processes.
