Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. The intern will support the Engineering Department with mechanical design tasks, CAD work, and documentation, while learning core engineering principles.

The role requires a high school diploma, ongoing mechanical engineering studies, and AutoCAD experience; strong communication and teamwork will be valued as the team collaborates on projects with a focus on safety and quality practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at an accredited institution.
• Experience using AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mechanical Design support to the Engineering Department.
• Learn basic principles of mechanical design and engineering.
• Assist with project research, preliminary designs, and analysis.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Adhere to safety and GMP regulations.
