Job summary

Cardinal Health in the United States is seeking a Technician I, Product Test & Calibration to set up, maintain, operate, test and inspect equipment in compliance with finished product specifications. Minimize scrap generation and promote workplace safety while providing process information to management so production equipment may be optimized.

The role supports production continuity with safety in mind and works under supervision to perform routine tasks and document results in line with SOPs.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up various production machines and ancillary equipment according to procedures and product specifications.
• Monitors machinery and goals during shift and adjust as necessary.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunction arrange or complete repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
• Completes documentation related to the finished product according to established guidelines.
• Interprets data and confer with management to determine required standards.
• Transports hazardous waste to required areas. Complete annual refresher trainings.
