CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its state-of-the-art wood door production facility. This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and focuses on process improvement, tackling day-to-day manufacturing challenges with Production, CI, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing engineering within a custom assembly environment, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to collaborate across levels of
Competenze
- Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
- 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation.
- Strong leadership experience as this is an independent role with the manager at another plant.
- Excellent communication skills across all staff levels.
Mansioni
- Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day performance.
- Drive process improvement to meet KPIs.
- Develop and implement practical solutions, challenging existing methods and driving change.
- Maintain floor presence and work with operators, supervisors, and leadership to resolve issues.
- Coordinate design, development and validation of manufacturing processes and improvements.
- Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in assigned areas.
- Develop and drive metrics with Production Teams.
