Job summary

Bloom Energy in Fremont, CA is seeking a Maintenance Trainer (Mx Trainer) to support the Manufacturing organization on-site. This is primarily a day-shift role with potential night coverage to align with training needs.

You will conduct hands-on and classroom training for Maintenance Technicians, develop structured programs, manage schedules and records, and work with HR and Safety to ensure compliance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing, strong PLC/I-O

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting automated equipment.
• Strong understanding of PLC systems, electrical schematics, digital & analog I/O.
• Proven experience with automated manufacturing tools & equipment.
• Ability to read and use precision measurement instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience delivering technical training or mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver hands-on and classroom training for Maintenance Technicians.
• Create and manage training schedules, onboarding, cross-training and upskilling plans.
• Maintain training records and certification matrices for all technicians.
• Conduct monthly training audits for compliance and effectiveness.
• Coordinate required safety training (LOTO, etc.) with HR and Safety.
• Develop standardized work Instructions and training materials with SMEs.
• Lead on-the-floor coaching and lean manufacturing training sessions.
