Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year engineering degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering.
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing at the time of the internship.
• GPA minimum of 3.0.
• Interest in manufacturing and hands-on engineering work.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment and on the production floor.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside manufacturing engineers and production teams on real projects.
• Spend time on the manufacturing floor learning processes, equipment, and operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.
• Collect and analyze production data.
• Support process improvement, equipment, tooling, and layout projects.
• Assist with time studies, process documentation, and work instructions.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Help implement engineering solutions and see projects through to completion.
