Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an onsite role in Homer City, PA. You will own production routing, tooling, and DFMA improvements while collaborating with EHS, quality, and maintenance to boost safety and efficiency.

Key tasks include creating SAP routers, supporting engineering changes, developing tooling, and applying lean practices to reduce waste and shorten cycle times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience creating/maintaining SAP production routers and standard work.
• DFMA knowledge and tooling design experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily shop engagement with production areas and meetings.
• Create/update SAP routers for production work with centers, work elements, and times.
• Support engineering change control and update drawings, routers and programs.
• Develop tooling solutions and document tooling in 2D/3D; integrate into standard work.
• Design for Manufacturability and Assembly to reduce parts and simplify processes.
