Job summary

KKS Search & Consulting LLC is partnering with an established global manufacturing organization to identify an Accounting Manager for its Franklin, Wisconsin facility. This hands-on leadership role will work closely with manufacturing operations to improve financial processes and translate financial information into actionable business insights.

The Accounting Manager will oversee cost accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing preferred
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
• Experience with financial reporting, general ledger, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting
• GAAP, internal controls, and financial compliance knowledge
• ERP experience, preferably SAP
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities and timely financial reporting per GAAP
• Manage month-end and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and statements
• Maintain general ledger integrity and internal controls
• Support audits, including SOX compliance and documentation
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy
• Lead cost accounting and inventory management, including standard costing and variance analysis
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering on costing and profitability
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
• Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions
• Assist with capex analysis and cost-benefit evaluations
