The role focuses on daily accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting to leadership, with ownership of general ledger activities, month-end close, and process improvements to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing environment experience required.
• Strong general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR skills.
• Experience with manufacturing accounting, inventory and COGS.
• Inventory reconciliations and financial reporting related to manufacturing operations.
• Understanding of manufacturing costs (materials, labor, overhead).
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reports.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Experience managing a broad range of accounting responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and own the accounting function.
• Strong communication with leadership and operations.
• Experience in a growing manufacturing company environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and financial operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records using QuickBooks.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Manage general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and month end close.
• Manage and reconcile inventory related accounting activity.
• Monitor COGS and manufacturing related costs.
• Support inventory valuation and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
• Review manufacturing costs, margins, and related financial activity.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow and provide visibility into the company financial position.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure financial records are accurate, organized, and current.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting.
• Work closely with company leadership and operations to provide meaningful financial information that supports business decisions.
• Take ownership of accounting and financial processes as the company grows.
