You will provide accurate financial reporting, analysis, and oversight to company leadership while taking ownership of the daily accounting function.

This position requires a strong foundation in manufacturing costs, inventory management, and monthly close processes.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting background in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to manage daily accounting and financial operations.
• Proficiency with general ledger activity and reconciliations.
• Experience with inventory accounting and COGS reporting.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and financial operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records using QuickBooks.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Manage general ledger activity, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Manage and reconcile inventory related accounting activity.
• Monitor COGS and manufacturing related costs.
• Support inventory valuation and ensure accurate reporting.
• Review manufacturing costs, margins and related financial activity.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow and provide visibility into the company financial position.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Ensure financial records are accurate, organized and current.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls and reporting.
• Work with leadership and operations to provide meaningful financial information.
