Kuester Management Group seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician to join the Briar Chapel on-site team in Chapel Hill, NC. You will maintain common areas, amenities, trails, and Association property, handling routine work orders and preventive maintenance to keep facilities safe and functional.

You’ll work independently, troubleshoot routine issues, operate hand and power tools safely, and coordinate with vendors when specialized support is needed. A valid NC driver’s license is required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of maintenance, facilities, residential or HOA experience.
• General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine maintenance problems with limited supervision.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work orders and changing priorities.
• Dependable attendance and follow-through.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new maintenance skills and procedures.

Aufgaben

• Complete routine work orders and minor repairs (carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, fencing, signage).
• Maintain common areas, amenities, trails, and Association property.
• Inspect facilities for maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
• Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance and keep basic repair records.
• Identify problems and escalate where specialized support is needed.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Keep work orders updated and communicate delays or material needs.
• Assist contractors and vendors on projects as directed.
• Assist with setup and breakdown for meetings and events.
• Interact professionally with homeowners, guests, vendors, and coworkers.
