Covenant Place is seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support building maintenance, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, work orders, and general facility repairs. If you enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting, and keeping a community safe, functional, and comfortable, we’d love to hear from you.

What you will do:

• 1. Maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions.
• 2. Performs maintenance tasks in accordance with procedures and preventative maintenance schedule.
• 3. Responds to maintenance requests by Residents and Staff.
• 4. Maintains storage and mechanical areas in clean, orderly manner.
• 5. Assists in removal of trash and debris.
• 6. Maintains interior and exterior of all buildings.
• 7. Moves furniture as directed.
• 8. Maintains lighting in working order.
• 9. Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies.
• 10. Constructs, repairs and maintains structures; such as, equipment, partitions and other parts of buildings, using hand and power tools according to written and oral instructions.
• 11. Performs electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, plaster, repairs and plumbing tasks as directed.
• 12. Performs periodic inspections of property, plant and equipment.
• 13. Performs landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, hedging, weeding, spreading fertilizer, mulch, sowing grass, setting out plants, watering, trimming of trees and shrubs.
