Job summary

Magnetic Inspection Laboratory (MIL) is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance across multiple facilities, ensuring safe, reliable operations and minimal downtime. The role combines supervision with direct technical work: troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems, coordinating preventive maintenance, managing CMMS records, and guiding a team of technicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, steam, electrical distribution, and facility infrastructure.
• Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S. and ITAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance across multiple MIL facilities and supervise technicians.
• Schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, and project work.
• Train, coach, and develop maintenance personnel; support cross-training.
• Ensure CMMS accuracy and maintain maintenance records (work orders, history, PMs).
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.
• Coordinate with Operations to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce safety policies and procedures.
