Job summary

Ritz-Craft Corporation is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead reliability and safety of equipment, fleet, and facilities at our modular home manufacturing plant in Michigan. You will develop and manage preventive maintenance programs, oversee custom fabrication, and support continuous production flow to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate diagnoses issues quickly, coordinates with production teams and licensed electricians, and drives continuous improvement in maintenance practices

Qualifications

• Proficient in welding and metal fabrication (MIG/TIG preferred).
• Ability to design and fabricate custom tools and structural solutions.
• Strong documentation and record‑keeping capabilities.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and overhead lifting equipment inspection.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve preventative maintenance programs for production equipment.
• Oversee maintenance of cranes, hoists, and fleet vehicles.
• Coordinate with production teams and licensed electricians for complex work.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and safe operating practices.
