Job summary

Ritz-Craft Corporation in Mifflinburg, PA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Design and Engineering Team from concept through production. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, guide project schematics, drawings and shop fabrication sets, and ensure timely delivery in a modular construction environment.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive CAD experience (AutoCAD) and the ability to mentor staff while coordinating with internal teams and external partners to meet

Qualifications

• 4 years directly managing teams in a design or engineering system.
• Knowledge of construction/drafting a must.
• Experienced with AutoCAD and other design software for cross functional teams.
• Relevant knowledge of Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Engineering Technology, Fabrication and/or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Leadership and ability to build effective teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling as it relates to architectural building components is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team in design to production coordination and delivery.
• Manage KPIs to meet speed of customer demands and project milestones.
• Develop high performing staff with integrity and collaboration across locations.
• Develop and implement quick, flexible capabilities to satisfy Ritz-Craft team needs.
• Maintain Master Engineering Calendar for submittals and drawings for internal/external stakeholders.
• Establish and manage relationships with 3rd party services for fluctuating demand.
• Collaborate with 3rd party design and regulatory professionals.
• Oversee program development for 2D/3D CAD/BIM shop drawings and standards.
