Job summary

Dreamscape Hospitality is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to lead kitchen staff, coordinate meal preparation, and maintain high food quality and safety standards. The role combines hands-on cooking with administrative duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a kitchen or food prep role with supervisory experience; a high school diploma is required and culinary training is preferred. Flexible scheduling may be needed, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in kitchen or food preparation role
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including meal preparation and presentation.
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and plating consistency.
• Assist with kitchen scheduling to ensure adequate staffing for peak hours.
• Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff; provide feedback.
• Inspect storage, preparation, and presentation for quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory; assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness; adhere to health regulations.
• Help manage food costs and reduce waste through efficient practices.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to address guest requests or complaints.
