Job summary

Ermi LLC is seeking an experienced Senior IT Systems & Security Engineer to own and secure the technology environment for a medical device organization. This hands-on role requires configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise systems, with a mix of day-to-day IT operations and larger initiatives in Atlanta, GA.

You will manage Windows and Mac devices, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and network infrastructure, while aligning with HIPAA/HITECH requirements.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on IT experience in systems administration, infrastructure, security, networking, cloud, or related duties.
Hands-on experience administering and securing Google Workspace.
Experience supporting Windows and Mac enterprise environments.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting networks, VPNs, routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure.
Experience administering identity and access management, including MFA, user provisioning, and permissions.
Experience implementing or maintaining endpoint protection, encryption, patching, and security monitoring.

Responsibilities

Administer, secure, and improve Ermi's business technology, endpoints, networks, cloud services, and enterprise systems.
Provide technical support for Windows, Mac, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
Configure and secure Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Teams, SharePoint).
Manage network services, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, firewall rules, and secure remote access.
Implement cybersecurity controls, including MFA, IAM, monitoring, and incident response.
