Job summary

CoreCard seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for our Atlanta office to support production operations and infrastructure projects. You will help design, deploy and troubleshoot high-availability systems, including Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365, while coordinating VMware ESXi environments and network gear.

You will also assist with PCI compliance, security hardening, on-call duties, and vendor management in a fast-paced, globally-integrated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows server, network, and virtualization environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience configuring and supporting VMware ESXi, virtual machines, storage, and virtualization tech.
• Proficiency with Cisco and/or Dell networking equipment, VPN, TCP/IP, subnetting, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting endpoint security, Microsoft Defender, vulnerability management, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network, server, and infrastructure environments for high availability.
• Administer Windows Server environments, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi, virtual servers, storage, and VSAN.
• Manage network infrastructure incl. switches, routers, VPN, subnetting, and firewalls.
• Support PCI compliance initiatives, security audits, and policy implementation.
• Evaluate, procure, and manage hardware, software licensing, and vendor relationships.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 support.
