Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is hiring an IT-OT Systems Support Specialist to troubleshoot and resolve production-impacting issues in a manufacturing environment.

The role spans IT and OT systems, collaborating with Operations, Engineering and Cybersecurity to ensure reliable plant operations. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of IT/OT infrastructure experience, a Bachelor's in a related field, and hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, SCADA and AVEVA in a production setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, OT systems, manufacturing technology, or industrial systems.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, production, plant, or operations environment.
• Proven hands-on technical support in environments where system downtime directly impacts production.
• Experience supporting industrial or enterprise software platforms used in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Support production-critical IT-OT systems on the plant floor and across operations.
• Troubleshoot outages and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Cybersecurity, IT, and vendor teams.
• Document incidents and resolutions to improve future response and reliability.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of critical IT-OT systems and manufacturing tech.
