Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking an Information Technology Intern to support the Service Delivery team. You will gain hands-on experience in user support, hardware deployment, and network troubleshooting within a fast-paced environment.

The role targets students pursuing IT, CS, or cybersecurity, offering real-world IT operations exposure, mentorship from full-time team members, and opportunities to contribute to system upgrades and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Strong interest in IT operations and infrastructure support.
Basic networking concepts and OS knowledge.

Responsibilities

Assist in deployment and maintenance of end-user systems.
Prepare, image, and configure hardware for onboarding/offboarding.
Troubleshoot network connectivity and assist with switch/access point deployments.
Document and improve IT operational processes and runbooks.
Provide technical support for hardware/software issues and account access.
Assist with low-voltage tasks like patching cables and labeling ports.
Support asset lifecycle management and scheduled maintenance for the Service Delivery team.
Contribute to system upgrades or automation initiatives with mentorship.
