Job summary

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is seeking a Temporary IT Applications Deployment Intern for our Global Operations & Innovation Center in Wheeling, WV. This hybrid role requires regular onsite work, with relocation at the candidate’s expense if necessary.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting software applications, imaging desktops, and maintaining SQL Server databases. You will work on creating software packages and collaborating with teams across the firm to drive IT initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows and Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of networking concepts, databases (SQL Server) and basic scripting/programming.
• Cloud-based (SaaS) understanding and support.
• Familiarity with AI tools and prompt writing.
• Low-code/no-code tools like Power Automate/Power Apps.
• Good writing and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the technical support of software applications.
• Test, document and troubleshoot applications, and image desktops.
• Support desktop imaging process for Windows and Mac, with focus on Macs.
• Create software packages using SCCM/Endpoint Configuration Manager.
• Maintain SQL Server databases by running basic queries and data checks.
• Communicate and collaborate with customers and teams across the firm.
• Coordinate special applications projects and initiatives.
