Job summary

You will work with motors, pneumatic/hydraulic components, conveyors, and production line equipment, while learning preventive maintenance to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a two-year Industrial Maintenance degree.
• Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic equipment and components.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing environments, automation systems, or preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced Maintenance Technicians who will provide coaching and hands-on learning opportunities.
• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
• Gain hands-on experience with motors, pneumatic and hydraulic components, conveyors, and production line equipment.
• Develop understanding of preventative maintenance practices to improve reliability and performance.
• Read diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications for installations.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring devices, and testing instruments.
• Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations team members to support safety, quality, and production goals.
