Job summary

LAKOS is seeking a Test Technician to join our Test Department and perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing on pressure vessels and assemblies. The role focuses on safety, accuracy, and adherence to established test standards while delivering quality results in a hands-on environment.

You will set up test equipment, verify pressures and criteria, document results, and collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure schedules are met and products meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing on pressure vessels and assemblies in accordance with company procedures and applicable codes.
• Set up and operate test equipment including pumps, gauges, hoses, valves, and regulators.
• Verify test pressures, hold times, and acceptance criteria per drawings and test documentation.
• Inspect vessels and assemblies for leaks or nonconformances during testing.
• Accurately complete test reports and required quality documentation.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure the test area remains clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures related to high-pressure testing.
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to support manufacturing schedules.
