Job summary

REXA, Inc. in Middleborough, MA is seeking an experienced auto mechanic or mechanical assembler to build high‑performance systems.

You will assemble components from blueprints and 3D drawings, install hydraulic tubing, and perform alignment and basic functional tests to ensure correct operation. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in auto mechanics or mechanical assembly, can read schematics and CAD drawings, and work with engineers to improve processes in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in auto mechanics or mechanical assembly.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and CAD drawings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Proficient written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers to improve assembly processes and resolve technical challenges.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand 95% of the time and lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical systems and components, using blueprints and 3D drawings.
• Install and plumb hydraulic tubing.
• Perform alignment adjustment and basic functional tests to ensure correct operation of the unit.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues during assembly, utilizing your hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Prepare units for final inspection with visual checks in a qualified quality verification process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
