Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is hiring a Maintenance Worker for our premier Marriott hotel in Mobile, AL. This hands-on role supports daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and building systems run safely and smoothly.

The ideal candidate is dependable, with strong troubleshooting abilities, and a willingness to lead and develop team members while upholding Marriott standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel maintenance or facilities is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
• Assist with basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building repairs.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, meeting/banquet spaces, restaurants, and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with repairs and maintenance of doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, lighting, appliances, and hotel equipment.
• Support the Engineering team with daily work orders and maintenance assignments.
