Job summary

Stellios Technologies in Austin, TX, is hiring a High Voltage Technician to build, wire, insulate, and operate the electrical systems that power our advanced hardware.

This hands-on role covers wiring harness fabrication, HV cable termination, potting, and the assembly of HV power supplies and modulators up to one million volts. Safety, reproducibility, and working with engineers are essential. No degree is required.

Qualifications

• Must have real, hands-on high voltage experience.
• No degree is required.
• Three good years beats a longer but passive career.
• Experience at labs, power electronics, or automotive HV environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Wiring harness fabrication, routing, labeling, and strain relief.
• HV cable termination, splicing, and insulation work.
• Assemble HV power supplies, modulators, and pulsed power hardware up to 1 MV.
• Test with hipot, megger, and partial discharge; document results.
• Troubleshoot arcing or failure to reach voltage and coordinate with engineers.
