Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
• Minimum of either a Technology Education 6-12 or Trade and Industry 6-12 teaching certification in Career and Technical Education.
• ASE certifications preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on instruction in automotive systems and repairs.
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state standards and industry requirements.
• Integrate safety practices into all lessons and lab activities.
• Establish and enforce classroom and lab rules to maintain safety and productivity.
• Prepare students for ASE Entry-Level Certification and other credentials.
• Collaborate with industry partners to create internships and job-shadowing opportunities.
