Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• Minimum of two (2) years of occupational work experience in Automotive field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for GaPSC industry-specific (Automotive Service Technology) certification.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Right to work in United States; applicable visa sponsorship may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teaches skills and knowledge in one or more automotive education courses.
• Instructs students in workforce readiness skills and state law requirements.
• Develops lesson plans and organizes class time for instruction and lab work.
• Integrates technology into classroom instruction.
• Maintains safety, classroom management, and equipment.
