Job summary

Nokia is seeking a Hardware Development Co-op in Murray Hill, NJ for an 8‑month onsite assignment (January–August 2027). You will assist with schematic design, PCB layout, FPGA design, and software for circuit boards, gaining hands-on experience in optical and FPGA system integration.

You will work in a hardware lab using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, collaborating with engineers to apply classroom learning to real-world projects while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in EE or CE at a U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field at a U.S. university.

Responsibilities

• Assist with schematic design and PCB layout.
• Support circuit board bring-up, testing, and debugging.
• Contribute to FPGA design and debug activities.
• Develop and assist software for circuit boards.
• Work hands-on in the hardware lab with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and digital debug tools.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to apply classroom learning to real-world projects in optical and FPGA system integration.
