Job summary

GPAC is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up projects in the King of Prussia/Philadelphia area. You will oversee field operations, coordinate multiple trades, manage scheduling, safety, quality control, and closeout tasks, ensuring projects progress safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on supervision, reads complex drawings, and can coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals.
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and milestones.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site construction activities from mobilization through substantial completion and closeout.
• Serve as field leader and primary contact for subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure proper sequencing and workflow.
• Review drawings and specifications for proper execution.
• Develop and drive short-term and overall project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Conduct daily/weekly planning for manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate deliveries, site logistics, and inspections.
• Lead regular subcontractor coordination meetings and maintain project records.
