Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial and industrial ground-up projects in Eastern Pennsylvania, from preconstruction through turnover. You will manage schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a superintendent, strong reading of drawings, proven leadership, and familiarity with Procore.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on commercial/industrial projects.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of sitework, structural systems and MEP coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Procore or similar construction management software experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily field operations and subcontractor activities.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field personnel.
• Oversee sitework, structural, building envelope, MEP and interior trades.
• Conduct subcontractor coordination and progress meetings.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs and submittals.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects and engineers.
• Monitor project quality, schedule and progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Identify field issues and develop solutions.
• Manage punch list, inspections, closeout and turnover.
