Job summary

GPAC (Growing People and Companies) seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up projects in the greater Philadelphia area, including King of Prussia. You will lead on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, safety, quality, and project closeout.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of superintendent experience, OSHA 30, strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to travel to local sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and milestones.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site construction activities from mobilization to closeout.
• Serve as primary field leader for subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and supervise multiple trades to ensure proper sequencing and workflow.
• Review drawings and specifications and ensure adherence on site.
• Develop and drive short-term and project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate inspections with municipal officials and project representatives.
• Enforce OSHA safety requirements and lead toolbox talks and site audits.
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and documentation.
