Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, electrical, or plumbing maintenance, ideally in greenhouse, agricultural, or industrial settings.
• Working knowledge of irrigation, HVAC, or climate control systems is a plus.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, and performing basic fabrication or repair work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on greenhouse structures, benching, and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, including pumps, valves, filters, and controllers
• Maintain and repair climate control systems, including lights, heaters, fans, evaporative cooling pads, and vents
• Maintain lighting systems, including supplemental grow lights and controls
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues across greenhouse and support facilities
• Perform general carpentry and basic electrical work as needed
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, and coordinate ordering as needed
• Respond promptly to equipment failures or environmental alarms to minimize risk to plant health
• Support installation and setup of new greenhouse equipment and infrastructure
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain security of company information including trade secrets
