Job summary

My Place Hotel is seeking a hands-on General Manager in Tucson, overseeing a small team and all hotel operations. You’ll drive strategic planning, manage HR, safety, maintenance, and guest services, while maintaining brand standards and growth. Occasional travel may be required.

You will lead front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services with a focus on operational excellence and personal accountability. Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and similar applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with staff, guests, and community.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills to keep hotel operations smooth.
• Engineering/maintenance understanding to oversee upkeep and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of strategies to drive hotel success and long-term goals.
• Oversee HR activities: hiring, training, scheduling for a small team.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed to protect guests, staff, and property.
• Maintain high quality standards across all areas for exceptional guest experience.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep to keep facilities in top condition.
