Job summary

A1 Garage Door Service is hiring for a hands-on garage door technician in Orlando. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs and installations, and interact with homeowners with a professional, trusted approach. This is a commission-based role where your earnings grow with performance.

You must be able to lift 75 lbs, work in extreme temperatures, and pass background and drug checks. Training and advancement opportunities are available, with a clear path toward six-figure earnings as you gain

Qualifications

• 21+, valid license
• 3+ years driving record
• Can lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, work in extreme temps
• Some hands-on mechanical experience or comfort with tools (home services, auto shops, hospitality, DIY projects)
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check, drug test (THC excluded) and driving record
• Basic tech comfort (apps, tablets); reading/math for measurements and payments
• No sales experience required, we teach that

Responsibilities

• Perform physical work daily: install and repair springs, cables, rollers, openers, motors
• Diagnose problems, repair, or install garage door components
• Talk to homeowners and build trust; selling is part of the role and commissions apply
