Job summary

SPX Technologies in Indiana is seeking a dependable Foundry Production Worker to support molding, casting, finishing, and material handling for boiler components in a demanding foundry environment.

Ideal candidates may have foundry or heavy industrial experience, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work safely around hot and dusty conditions. Overhead cranes and heavy equipment are used daily, emphasizing teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing or foundry settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, and finish cores for boiler parts according to standard procedures.
• Locate and install core boxes and rollover plates with correct alignment.
• Perform pattern changes, inspect core quality, and repair cores as needed.
• Open molds, degate castings, and transport them to cleaning areas; remove excess iron.
• Operate blast equipment to load/unload castings and remove debris.
• Operate overhead cranes and molding machinery; support production with setup and changeovers.
