Job summary

DECCO Postharvest is seeking a Service Manager to lead service operations across Visalia/ Ventura area, ensuring high customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This hands-on role covers field service, team leadership, and active field support during staffing shortages.

You will coordinate between customers, sales, and internal teams to deliver service excellence. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years in machinery repair/maintenance, with 3+ years

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 7 years related experience in repair, maintenance, construction and operation of machinery.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience managing teams and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day service operations to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
Resolve escalated service issues and customer complaints with professionalism and urgency.
Drive continuous improvement in service processes, tools, and workflows.
Provide operational coverage for service technicians during PTO, vacations, leaves of absence, or staffing shortages.
