Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead field efforts on design/build projects across the United States. You will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project while learning from experienced professionals dedicated to your growth.

You will support preconstruction planning, scheduling, field leadership, and subcontractor coordination to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Need degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering or related engineering major.
• Interest in design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds.
• Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project.
• Excellent verbal communication, detail-oriented, strong work ethic.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction planning: attend post-award meetings and assist with planning before work begins.
• Develop construction schedules with Project Manager, plan staffing and equipment needs.
• Oversee daily field activities to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and specs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure proper coordination across trades.
