Job summary

Wright-Ryan Construction, Inc. offers summer internship opportunities in the Field Operations Division for sophomores and juniors in Building Construction programs.

You will work alongside Project Managers and Superintendents on current Wright-Ryan projects based on your skills, experience, and areas of interest. Imagine spending your summer gaining hands-on field experience that sets you up for a career as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in construction or related field in Maine or a Maine resident attending an out-of-state school
• Interest in building and modern construction site management
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team, learn new skills, and take on new responsibilities
• Ability to communicate professionally, verbally and in writing
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Good organizational skills and attention to pace and accuracy
• Carpentry and construction management skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Project Managers and Superintendents on Wright-Ryan projects
• Gain practical field experience and learn site operations
• Assist in daily field tasks and documentation based on your skills and interests
