Job summary

Trueline's client in Canton, OH seeks a Facility Manager to lead maintenance and improvements in a busy manufacturing setting. This hands-on role requires coordinating contractors, managing safety compliance, and driving reliability across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and utility systems.

You'll oversee upgrades, planned shutdowns, and facility projects from planning to completion, partnering with leadership to align investments with growth while maintaining a safe, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing facilities, maintenance operations, or capital projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety compliance.
• Track record coordinating contractors and service providers.
• Hands-on leadership in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, upkeep, and condition of facilities and infrastructure.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for reliability.
• Coordinate repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and utilities.
• Lead upgrades, renovations, and capital improvements end-to-end.
• Manage outside contractors, vendors, and safety/compliance requirements.
• Conduct inspections and plan planned shutdowns with minimal production impact.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize facility investments and growth.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
