Job summary

Trueline seeks a Production Manager for its Greater Canton area client in precast manufacturing. This hands-on leader will oversee daily production, coach a skilled workforce, and uphold safety, quality, and output standards amid strong growth.

You will coordinate production schedules, manage crews, and ensure equipment is operated safely. A background in heavy manufacturing and OSHA familiarity is highly valued.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing or related settings.
• Experience leading employees in a hands-on production environment.
• Experience working around or operating forklifts.
• Experience with large-load, overhead, bridge, or gantry cranes.
• Familiarity with heavy manufacturing or concrete-related production.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and enforcing procedures.
• Ability to organize production priorities and keep schedules on track.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities within a precast manufacturing facility.
• Keep production workflows aligned with schedules, quality expectations, and customer commitments.
• Supervise, train, and motivate employees in manufacturing procedures, safe work practices, and equipment operation.
• Monitor production progress, troubleshoot problems, and remove barriers that could affect deadlines.
• Oversee the safe use of forklifts, cranes, and other heavy material‑handling equipment.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and address hazards or compliance concerns promptly.
• Reinforce OSHA requirements, company safety procedures, and proper PPE use.
• Coordinate raw material and finished‑product inventory with forklift and material‑handling employees.
• Maintain accurate production reports, shift logs, incident documentation, and related records.
• Partner with plant leadership to improve productivity, accountability, and operational consistency.
