City of Greenville is seeking a hands-on Facilities Supervisor to oversee building maintenance and grounds, assign crews to locations, supervise work orders, and support the Facilities Manager.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with building trades coursework, at least five years in building maintenance (including supervisory experience), and preferred electrical/HVAC licenses or journeyman level experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with building trades coursework.
• At least five years in building maintenance and repair, including supervisory experience.
• Licenses, certifications, and journeyman level experience in electrical and/or HVAC preferred.

Responsabilités

• Complete work orders in areas of electrical, HVAC, and other skilled trades.
• Supervise and assign work orders to building facilities technicians and other staff.
• Train staff in work methods to ensure safety and standards.
• Coordinate responses to emergency calls and determine repairs.
• Work with contractors to complete maintenance and repairs.
• Purchase, maintain, and manage inventory for maintenance and repairs.
• Support Facilities Manager in developing and managing the facilities budget.
