Job summary

Helia Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dependable Fix-It Sidekick to support our maintenance team. You will assist with daily tasks, small repairs, and safety checks to keep the facility safe, comfortable, and welcoming for residents.

You will perform painting, minor plumbing, and general repairs, while assisting with grounds care and space organization. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and the ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to jump in.
• Able to follow directions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director with daily tasks and work orders.
• Help with painting, patching, minor plumbing repairs, and basic maintenance.
• Maintain resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and equipment.
• Assist with mowing, landscaping, snow removal, and entrances/walkways.
• Spot safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Follow safety practices and use tools correctly.
