Are you handy with tools, enjoy fixing things, and love seeing a job well done? We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to help keep our skilled nursing facility safe, comfortable, and looking its best. You don’t have to be a master plumber or electrical wizard—just bring practical skills, a willingness to learn, and a great attitude!

  • Lend a Helping Hand. Assist the Maintenance Director with daily tasks, work orders, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Put Your Fix-It Skills to Work. Help with painting, patching, replacing bulbs, minor plumbing repairs, and other basic maintenance.
  • Keep Things Looking Sharp. Help maintain resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and equipment in good condition.
  • Show Our Grounds Some Love. Assist with mowing, trimming, landscaping, snow removal, and clearing entrances and walkways.
  • Be an Extra Set of Eyes. Spot maintenance concerns or safety hazards and promptly report them to the Maintenance Director.
  • Put Safety First. Follow proper safety practices, use tools correctly, and respect residents’ space and privacy.
  • Be Ready for Anything. Help move furniture, set up spaces, organize supplies, and complete other assigned projects.
Requirements
  • A Can-Do Attitude. You’re dependable, hardworking, and ready to jump in.
  • Basic Fix-It Skills. You’re comfortable with common tools and general repairs, or eager to build those skills.
  • Team Player Energy. You communicate well, follow directions, and value working together.
  • An Eye for Detail. You notice the little things that help keep our building safe and welcoming.
  • Respect for Residents. You understand that this facility is more than a workplace—it’s home to our residents.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid Missouri driver’s license required.
  • At least one (1) year of maintenance, general repair, or related experience preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools, equipment, and general maintenance practices.
  • Ability to follow directions, work safely, and lift or move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions.
The Fine Print (Still Important!):

Offers of employment are contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen. We want to keep our residents safe, happy, and in good hands—you’re part of that promise.
