RPM Staffing Professionals Inc. is seeking a hands-on Facilities Assistant to keep our workplace safe, clean, and fully functional. You will manage restocking, basic maintenance, and space planning in a fast-paced environment.

The role covers partnering with vendors, installing furniture, and ensuring compliance with safety codes. This on-site position requires reliability, organization, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of facilities, maintenance, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of building systems is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and restock restroom supplies throughout the day
• Install, update, and maintain signage across the facility and shop floor
• Perform routine exterior cleaning and grounds upkeep
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Assemble and install desks, chairs, and other office equipment
• Coordinate with vendors for larger repairs or specialized servicing
• Manage inventory of facilities supplies
• Assist with move-in/move-out logistics and space planning
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes
• Respond to facility requests and tickets from staff
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and schedules
• Support janitorial staff as needed
• Assist with basic security tasks such as badge access and building entry monitoring
