Job summary

Skyline Windows is seeking a hands-on Fabrication & Building/Warehouse Lead to run day-to-day shop fabrication and lead the building/warehouse operations. The role requires experience across carpentry, metal fabrication, and maintenance, with ability to read drawings and guide the team to safe, accurate outputs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years across trades, strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on multi-trade fabrication and building maintenance.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints and lead fabrication teams.
• Experience with carpentry, metal work, and basic welding/machining.

Responsibilities

• Order labeling and staging for shipping to ensure accuracy.
• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs, including basic electrical/plumbing.
• Fabricate, cut, and assemble wood components with shop tools.
• Measure, cut, bend and shape metal; operate braking equipment.
• Read blueprints and schematics to execute fabrication correctly.
• Join components via welding, bolts, rivets, or adhesive for finished products.
• Inspect quality with precision tools and ensure specs are met.
• Maintain tools and machinery; enforce safety protocols and PPE use.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, field teams, and warehouse staff.
• Document production data and suggest workflow improvements.
